John Slate, Ph.D., L.P.C., M.H.S.P.
I began my counseling career many years ago and have worked in a variety of settings including mental health hospitals, alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers, clinics, and nonprofit organizations. Today, I work exclusively online providing therapy services to Tennessee clients through Rula Therapy.
Through Relationship Support Network, LLC, I facilitate educational support groups for individuals and offer webinars focused on healthier relationships, emotional growth, communication, trust rebuilding, and personal development.
This website and my books were created because many people continue repeating unhealthy emotional and relationship patterns because the deeper beliefs they carry about themselves, connection, safety, worth, and belonging were never fully updated. Patterns that may have once helped people survive difficult periods of life often continue long after they stop working in healthy ways. Lasting change often begins when people learn to see themselves, their relationships, and their emotional patterns differently

Scott Slate, C.P.S.S., C.N.A.
Scott has experience facilitating groups within alcohol and drug treatment settings as well as online educational support groups and workshops focused on personal growth, emotional health, and healthier relationships. He also completed Certified Peer Support Specialist training with a focus on family support systems.
Through his work in health care and support-related environments, Scott developed a deep compassion for individuals and families navigating difficult seasons of life, relationship struggles, emotional stress, and personal challenges. Combined with his background in sales, marketing, and group support, he brings both heart and vision to Relationship Support Network with the goal of helping make affordable educational support and relationship resources available to a wider community of people.
Relationship Support Network, LLC, was inspired by Scott’s desire to create a safe, supportive, and affordable place where individuals and couples can find encouragement, relationship tools, emotional growth resources, and opportunities to build healthier patterns, stronger connection, and more meaningful relationships.
